Objective

To effectively set up goals within the HR system following the SMART goal setting framework for better tracking and accountability.

Key Steps

  1. Access the employee's profile in the HR system.

  2. Navigate to the goals section and review existing goals.

  3. To create a new goal, click on "Add Goal."

  4. Enter a specific goal description and set a due date.

  5. Select the goal type: Business Goal, Professional Development Goal, or Personal Goal.

  6. Break down the goal into Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by adding actionable steps.

  7. Set dates for each KPI to track progress effectively.

  8. Add reminders to keep everyone accountable, such as email reminders before the goal's due date.

  9. Save the goal once all details are entered.

  10. Edit the goal and mark it as complete once the goal is achieved.
